- I decided to port the tiny mode depacker to the 65816 (SNES) as well: http://jiggawatt.org/badc0de/decrunch/
Keep in mind that this is crazy slow on a SNES :P - isokadded on the 2010-06-26 21:26:18

- @leonard: my comment wasn't directed at you, so sorry if it caused you any confusion :T
Anyway, I found some stuff in my SH2 code that could be optimized, so now it's 236 bytes instead of 264 (same URL as before).
That's still considerably larger than the 68k version, but I blame that on the SH2's limited ISA :P - isokadded on the 2010-06-23 11:57:29

- Tiny mode looks a lot like apLib, but usually gives better compression ratios.
I've ported the tiny depacker to the Hitachi SH2 (Sega 32X/Saturn). Assembly code + C prototype can be found here: http://jiggawatt.org/badc0de/unpackfire_tiny_sh2.zip

- It's nice that people are making demos for the ps3. But the choice of colors, the shading and the aliasing makes this look like a Windows screensaver from the mid-early '90s. Hopefully making this was a learning experience so that next time you can make something better.
Disclaimer: the mic credited in this demo is not me :P - sucksadded on the 2010-05-04 22:32:37
- demo Windows Wir sind Einstein by United Force [web] & Digital Dynamite [web]
- At some points there were scenes with colors and objects that didn't fit together _at all_. Like wtf is this? :P
But overall it's pretty slick. I liked the stop-motion glowing cubes. - rulezadded on the 2010-04-08 09:05:32
- demo wild Wild Phasor by lft [web]
- Not as good as Craft, but still cool. And I know about the horrors of PAL signal generation - even though I did it on an 80 MHz SX. Still a fucking nightmare, even compared to NTSC.

- demo Windows fr-043: rove by Farbrausch [web]
- The lava/magma stuff reminded me of some stages from Super Mario Galaxy, which is a good thing.
I agree with some of the commenters that the animation of those bug-like creatures was way too jerky.
The soundtrack is massive, and overall it's a great demo. - rulezadded on the 2010-04-07 20:32:00

- I prefer HBC's "serious" prods. Can't deny that this was funny and well-made, though.
