Good demos more or less "killing off" a platform?
category: general [glöplog]
If somebody feel like pushing envelope on an alternative platform, the Oric demo scene salutes you: I'm basically the only remaining 'semi active' demo coder on this machine.
There are some other people writing games and small applications, but in the demo category, there's only me an mmu_man who writes small intro invits for french meetings.
If anyone wants to get kick-started, the source code of "many" Oric demos have been published :)

come on dbug, you know mentioning oric kills threads ;-)
I'm sorry for killing the pc-scene but it had to be done.
Xeron: Boring threads are boring :) Is it wrong to kill them?
Sorry, but I've got my hands full with my own obsolete platform. (Hi from at-party!)
trixter wins.
people with electric cars really don't get to decide anything
Good demos can inspire, bad demos can not.
ok ok ok.. I take back what I said!
nonono ... you won't come off that easy. First you've gotta do a platform killer for the Amiga ... again :)
With all these great demos, the Amiga should be pretty dead by now, but it belongs to the group of immune platforms. I think the easiest platforms to kill are those which require you to do a small pilgrim journey to compile and run the demo.
