does anyone know what is going on with this?

this happened a few days ago all my files in this one directory all have question marks on them and the drive has a check mark on it. jdownloader has to be updated sometimes as well to run. it uses java and etrade's realtime stock information no longer loads. crossftp which uses java has broken as well and will no longer load at all and i have no access to the java control panel because it does not load either. i thought maybe i would use it to clear java's cache and it might help something. i have reinstalled java and it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
i'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before.
Did you recently install Tortoise source control shell extension?
You installed TortoiseSVN. This is a SVN repository, you can see it there, a ".svn" hidden folder exists. The check mark indicates, that you haven't changed anything since the last update. Question marks are files not part of the repository.
You can either live with it, or just delete the .svn folder for it to stop being a SVN repository. All the icons will be gone after pressing F5.

deleted it and it got rid of the check mark. directory in there still have the question marks. but, yea i do have tortoisesvn installed. i just never used it and it was installed probably a month ago. maybe after a reboot it will fix the problem with the question marks. thanks for the help. as for java being all screwy. do you think tortoisesvn could be part of that problem?
fixed the questionmarks. thanks guys.
by the way: is there any good free svn client for mac? preferrably with shell integration? i WANT questionmarks on my files! (at least sometimes)
http://versionsapp.com/ is very good.
