xteraco: have you tried emule, amule, xmule or any of the other eDonkey network clients? Torrents are good for 0-7 day warez but older stuff tends to disappear fast.
emule has more long-term distribution of older apps, so you might find Alambik on their still.

if you connect to the RIGHT server, you will find literrally millions of useful files laying around on ppl's HDs. If you pick the wrong server then you might only find a few hundred, so do your research and use it well. :o
