What feature would make you buy an ipod?

xernobyl: it's getting there. Looky here.
@xernobyl&noouch: A working MOD player!? I knew they had added .sid, but I thought they determined a MOD player would be impossible due to the lack of MMU (or FPU?) on their targets, and the fact that many are written in C++.
Well, at least they have MOD. It'd be nice if they could have gotten DUMB or BASS working, but those are probably too computationally intensive. Then again, they seem to have managed to make things work on the 80GB fifth generation iPod...
Still, it's worth thinking about the iAudio X5L (their best-supported player, provided it really hasn't been cancelled in favor of some X7) for that reason...

I'd buy a television set before I'd by an iPod. And I have no intention of purchasing a TV.
Oh that's easy: not being an ipod.
A couple of years back I bought an m:robe MR-100. In hardware it's identical to the contemporary ipod mini, except for better battery life and such a retarded approach to drm that it's essentially an unlocked harddisk that looks cool and plays mp3s. I bought that thing for it's looks but mostly because it wasn't one of those goddamn ipods.
