Poll: What is your screen resolution?
category: general [glöplog]
You do realize most of us use a resolution lower than today's TVs right?
(1920 × 1080)
Something's gone wrong. Terribly wrong.

__-__-___: basically, none of my monitors is even 1/8 the price of a full HD television, plus, calling full HD (1080p) "today's" TVs sounds a little pretentious... I don't really know of any TV network that broadcasts 1080p as of today (hell, there are just some test channels in 720p in Spain AFAIK)
1680x1050 at home, 1024x768 on the ibook (will hopefully be replaced by a macbook pro quite soon :)
1280x1024x32 17" @ home
1024x768x32 15" @ school
A 22" would be cool..

Work PC (main one for demos): 1280x1024 * 2
Home macs: 1440x900 and 1280x854
Seems there's a lot of macs now and quite a few planning on getting a new one. More mac demos on the way soon? Or are you all going to dual boot windows for demos?

160x200 (CPC 16 colors rulez!)
1024x768 (My desktop)
512x384 (Somehow this has numbers that sound cool. Would use it for a software PC demo maybe. Even though I prefer 640x480 for soft demos. But the sounding of the first, doh..)
256x256 (There was a VGA resolution like this as I read in an old mag, very convenient for dot effects and stuff, hmm. Should try)
256X192 (This somehow from Speccy sounds or feels exactly similarly nice without knowing why. Oh, wait. It's just the half widths and heights from 512x384!)
256x256x256 (Maybe try some voxel stuff in this?)

my resolution is 1x1. this allows my computer to communicate directly with my photoreceptors in pure binary. the pixel itself is in fact an ordinary table lamp.
