it's about nolife TV, a geek tv channel, displaying demos each sundays.
They are coming to breakpoint, they'll record, so bring your fave hawaïï shirt and your ukulele (btw, I'm gonna buy one asap)

Well actually the only thing that would be an issue is if you wear a branded t-shirt since we're not allowed to show brands on TV during reports. People that wear brands will be mirrored, and people that smoke won't be filmed at all.
Everything else is okay ^^

About the show (Temps Réel), it's aired each Sunday at 21:30 and replayed on Tuesday and Thursday at 21:30 and 1:30.

By the way, it's "Nolife" and not "Nolife TV". It's available on IPTV through three French DSL ISPs : Free, Neuf and Alice.

Beer is usually easier to hide, to put down or not to shoot than cigarettes :)
But you're right we actually avoid it when shooting interviews. Doing ambiance shots is another thing.
There's strong laws against alcohol/tobacco on French TV but we're used to them so we will shoot whatever is possible to show and politely ask people not to get drunk in front of the camera during an interview (but it's possible to interview already drunk people...).
As for the brand, the law strangely authorize them if the picture is mirrored. Of course you can recognize the brand since your brain do very well its job, but legally a mirrored version of a brand is not the brand anymore (!). That's why in many TV reports right-handed people magically become left-handed...

"Dead" brands are definitively a problem.
You can show them, but sometimes there's an issue. Take Atari for example : can I shoot the Atari logo on an old ST, knowing that it's a reborn brand now ? Sometimes I choose to do it, sometimes I can't.
