category: general [glöplog]
just wanted to spread the news, since many people were asking/waiting:
For the fourth time Digitale Kultur e.V. is organizing a bustrip to the tUM demoparty. Being themed "Your favourite DISCO-Event" it takes place in Durlach near Karlsruhe.
Kickoff for the trip will be Cologne Main Station. It has good transport connections to these airports:
* Köln/Bonn Airport (15 min)
* Flughafen Düsseldorf International (30 min)
The fare for the trip has not been fixed, yet. Still it will not be more than 40 Eur. Members of Digitale Kultur e.V. will pay 5 Eur less. The entrance fee to the party is not included

when does the bus leave and how long does the trip take?
i think, last time the trip took around 3 hours or something. as for leaving times, they are not announced yet. i'm not involved into the organizing, i got to know about the trip only today through the homepage announce, and just wanted to spread the news here. register yourself and you will be kept informed!
you cant register, you can just send emails which arent answered :D
Yo! How about making a stop at the Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.
Then people going by Ryan Air could get on.

Gargaj: Um, mine got answered?
course mine was just registering, I don't know when to book FOR, and I don't know if I can crash anywhere after the party (: So yes there does need to be more open discussion about it. But I _did_ get an answer.
me too now, i was just being a bit hyper about it.
Ok the question stands:
Germanwings flights from Budapest arrive at 18h, while the bus is said to leave at 12h. That means I'd need to leave on the 26th the latest since otherwise I can't reach the bus. Grah.
Also, I have no clue when the bus goes back, which means I might need to stay an additional day since flights leave back at 14h (and if the bus is later, well...)
Any ideas?

Non-Finns flying from Helsinki who don't know when to book their flights for also have the same question. Considering that the 25th is when it's cheapest, and how little I have to spend on this, it would be NICE if I could do that.
It would also be NICE if .dewings would make the prices from Helsinki equivalent to the prices from Stansted.
I'll figure on the former being more likely.
