Wouldn't it be better to add youtube link straight in the prod submit form? Just to avoid waiting for the gloperators to approve additional link.

I agree. Would also be very cool to be able to add GitHub links and credits directly when submitting!

It ended with a discussion on dangerous "youtube-submitters" and how Pouet should not follow the modern web trends like user reputation and such (and it didn't, in fact).

Maybe they will think about GitHub links (or maybe I don't know how dangerous a GitHub link can be...).

I guess it is not about being "dangerous" and more like potentially being anything but a link to the specific e.g. capture as pointed out in the thread linked above. sure this implies missuse/ill intentions but since the world is not a perfect place assuming everyone does a good thing is also not ideal.

but i seriously wonder because this sounds like there is no time to wait a bit for getting approvals for links/credits.

also, a bit offtop, but: could the prod credist be rearranged? is it technically possible? let's say, if i ask for it in fix me beautiful, would i look ridiculous? :)

i never paid attention but i assume the order is given by the order of approving, but i could be wrong there and something else is making the rule. but does it really matter in which order credits are? if someone does not have an account here the credit could not even be given, so ...

The web isn't the same it was a decade ago. Looking back at this thread it is clear that demozoo tackled all these issues and requests years ago. ;)
