Live Coding Mapping Project
category: general [glöplog]
A small request: As you probably know, I'm the organizer of the Shader Showdown, Shader Jam and Byte Battle live coding events that you have (hopefully) enjoyed in recent years at demoparties, online and maybe also at non-demoscene events. To make those shows outside the demoscene possible we have cooperated with "Creative Coding Utrecht", you can find some pictures of the matches we did on Neude square in downtown Utrecht in 2019 here: https://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=11779 .
CCU is at the moment conducting an open survey for their "Live Coding Mapping Project", the aim of this project is to "map" live coding audiences, practitioners and organizations. They are very interested in receiving replies from demosceners who saw 1 or more of our shows, shader and TIC 80 coders, and party organizers who have been involved with our shows. Of course your replies will be handled confidentially and you are not required to enter personally identifiable data should you prefer to do so. The replies you enter will be used to create a "map" of the live coding scene in Europe which will hopefully help to convince the EU to give CCU and their partners in other European countries further grants to organize live coding events and initiatives, which would give us the opportunity to put on Shader Showdown/Jam and Byte Battle shows at such events (and hopefully thereby to proselytize the demoscene to a wider audience ;) )
The survey is here: https://onthefly.creativecodingutrecht.nl/ - Thanks in advance for your support :)
