Wanna do a demoshow?
As you probably know my now, UC9 will be featuring a huge outdoor bigscreen next to the lake. Sitting inside the bouncy castles, you will be able to enjoy demo content during the night.
Due to that, every night we'd like to run demo shows. For this, we are looking for sceners who are volunteering to run those. And no, Youtube is not acceptable.
We'd like the demo shows to be themed. For example "Best from last 10 years" - "offensive demos", "technical breakthroughs" etc.
Here are two options on how to do it:
Install all the demos to run on your own computer in beforehand, and do a test run to make sure all demos run fine on it. This could be a current PC, an Amiga, a C64 or whatever you'd like.
Then bring that computer with you.
In case this is not an option, and you want to do a high-end demoshow, you can also prepare it at home, ZIP up everything onto a drive, and then test your show on the compo PCs.
So, are you willing to help out here? Then please contact us, and let us know what hardware platform and theme you'd want to do, and what roughly the length of your show could be (anything between 30 minutes and two hours is fine).

What a wonderful weekend, thank you for this great camping event! As they say, location, location, location - and this one ruled supreme!

For me UC9 was 4 days of good vibes, cool people and a general level of anarchic craziness. Rarely enjoyed a party as much as this one. My hat goes off to the entire team which made this possible.

So…about last weekend:
It was a weekend full of love, other emotions ^^ and a lot of fun.
I did things, I never thought I would do…but I because I was in a safe environment surrounded by my family of choice and my son and wife – it felt great.
I´m absolutely in love the anarchistic satiric concept, which is really mind-expanding.
For example: Having a shitmusic competition where you can only win when you are really shit, when a track starts shitty gets better and you think “no bro…don’t get better here nonono” and the audience shouts “NOT SHIT! NOT SHIT!” – so the track gets disqualified because its “Not shit!” ---> was awesome.
Fakevoting by yelling offensive terms really made me think of “uh….exact this is what I might think in reality I will never hear. Fuck did i say that? I want to wash my mouth with soap”…helped sorting what I find offensive and what not. Outside…in reality.
On UC its totally OK, what ppl who haven’t been there will maybe never understand.
I stepped over my personal boundaries and I have to thank Scamp, Fashion and the rest of the family for it.
The whole event is a GIANT ART performance and every single visitor is part of it.
The effort made in the whole party setup is:
sick. expensive. and even more sick.
With the current UC event setup you can run a small festival.
This was my first Underground Conference, it wont be the last.
The overall concept binds the audience very close together.
You have to be there to understand it…
