There is the famous Viprinet booth party on friday, 18:00… hall 13, booth D27.

Went 4 years ago and it sucked. Probably hasn't changed since.

Went twice, and practically nothing changed => second time was boring.

yeah, imho it's getting more and more business/meeting oriented, and less technology oriented..
IFA is a better go.

Also, i hate the concept of the traders only area where nowadays the most interesting companies are inside. No registraton and special passport, no entrance. Certain companies ruined it for me.

I can't imagine how dump It may sound but we are preparing a demo for Cebit. Yes it's true - we will be making a realtime oldschool demo for the opening ceremony. Since it will be interactive and performed live, we will be in Hannover starting from Friday. We will have 2 solid days for rehearsals on stage, but we can meet up for a beer during events. So If anyone want to meet up before cebit, please stand up :).

i won't be there though. my last cebit was in 1999 or 2000, back when we were highschool kids and it was fun hunting down all the freebies. =)

Virgill: Yep, Poland was the partner country. All done now :). It was crazy like hell (or like finishing a demo at party before deadline, which is actually very dead ;) ). But in the end I liked the end result (taking into consideration how many things didn't work on general rehearsal)
