b0ib0t: seems like my account on that site is deleted or something. but i think i may have the sources laying around somewhere on my old laptop. too bad its broken though. it'll take some time until i buy myself a new one, perhaps some time after new year. so then ill transfer the files and upload em to somewhere else. if i dont forgett it you could remind me of it some time after new year i guess...

I'm actually trying to find a SW demo that I saw once before if someone could help. All I remember about it was a nice drum&bass track, an orb cutting through walls, and that they did 2 versions of it, and the 2nd one was way better. Any ideas? I know also that it was done by a fairly popular group.

b0i: IIRC both Fresnel and Fresnel 2 use graphics acceleration (GL_QUADS or something) to speed-up the rendering.
