@neptun: "just" 40 euros? while it might not be the biggest amount donated (some sceners seem to have been very generous), mind that its about twice as much as you would pay for a random album in the shop.
if every paniq listener out there would give only 1 euro it would be more than enough to cover the production costs. you have a good karma! :p

i think you got the majority of the donations because the people want to make the album a reality and not because they think "hey i couldve spend only 10 but i want that vip lounge access so lets make it 40!".
im not saying your goodies are bad (they are not: they show that you care about the people who pledge), but its not the main motivation for us (at least not for me).
in fact im thinking for weeks about telling you to keep your CD since I dont even have a player for those anymore! But who knows.. maybe signed paniq CDs are worth sth in 50 yrs! =)
i guess i will wait for the product to arrive in digital form before i make that decision...
as for the whip-over-ip idea (caution! sarcasm and irony ahead):
imagine a digital overseer. you need to install it manually at your studio along with a web-stream. take a strong robotic arm holding a whip and a mechanism to make it slap you when the command comes across the interwebs (read: when somebody in the vip lounge catches you asleep!). allthough i lied and there is no official standard the system is reported to work and increase productivity in sweat shops all over the world (especially in asia)!
alternative approach to this:
replace the robotic arm with your wife. double the trouble but twice the fun (now where did i read this again?)!
did i mention i love being at work while the database is not running? *twiddles thumbs*

As it's finished - do you like the album?
yes - i do.
i have to admit first i thought it was lacking some "boom" and intensity but after hearing it a couple of times i really dig the clean and very good produced sounds and electronic vibes. also theres a lot of variety on it.
i cannot listen to it all day long but its sure something different and not your usual dubstep/dnb'ish experience.
