For people who don't read Norwegian: there are busses going between the stops Lillestrøm and Oslo Central Station (which are on the route between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and downtown Oslo). This will be established about a month before Solskogen 2011 and any possible kinks should be ironed out well before then.

What it means: when you get on the Airport Express train (or the local train that travels the same distance) at Oslo Airport Gardermoen, the train won't travel the entire distance to Oslo Central Station. About half-way to Oslo, it'll stop, and all passengers will get on pre-planned busses that will take you the rest of the way. That's it.

Our beloved RyanAir flys to RyggeAirport(Right outside Moss) from Aarhus.
And thats actually closer to the partyplace, than Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
There is also a flight from Tampere to Rygge with RyanAir.

There is a free airport shuttle bus to Rygge Railway Station. From there you take the train to Moss. And from there to ÅS. (Takes in total 40min according to nsb.no)

re sleeping bags

@Gloom and others: Not that we are not allowed to bring sleeping bags, we are avoiding checking bags as we have many connections, there are fees (what I meant by restrictions) and are afraid of our luggage being lost, also.

We're each going to bring one small carryon bag and do laundry along the way in sinks or whatever, as we did when we visited Finland in 2008. I even have a laundry line! ( :

Also, this means we can't really bring people stuff or take much more than postcards or a little candy back with us : P

Also, organizing a party is enough work without organizing rides. Kudos to Darklite for stepping up!

what i really love about norwegian parties are your demoshows, because the content are almost strictly norwegian and you have such many hidden gems in between (do i have to mention textmode V?)
