Zeitgeist: Moving Forward, by director Peter Joseph, is a feature length documentary work which will present a case for a needed transition out of the current socioeconomic monetary paradigm which governs the entire world society.

This subject matter will transcend the issues of cultural relativism and traditional ideology and move to relate the core, empirical "life ground" attributes of human and social survival, extrapolating those immutable natural laws into a new sustainable social paradigm called a "Resource-Based Economy".

Oh God, I can't stop laughing!! That sentence is one of the worst attempts at English I've ever seen. I looked at the website and there's more. The writer probably thinks he/she sounds really intelligent using all these buzz words and phrases, and doesn't really get how bad it is.

I'm not sure what to make of the documentary, but I have a cruel sense of humour and would probably find it really funny, in the same way "The Room" is funny.

Oh, that stuff that is posted on regularly on 4chan's /f/lash board.
all I have to say is... check this out

Yeah, Mohamed and Josesph Smith where born from a virgin on the winter solstice. Its all part of the conspiracy, continued by the likes of the Rothschilds and other jews.[/sarcasm]

My failure to properly create the contraction for "it is" is also part of the conspiracy.

haha! WTF is that JewWatch thing? And whats up with the videos there? I can't make sense of any of it. Cuts in the videos seems random at times, and what the hell is he talking about? Never seems to finish any points on what he first starts to talk about.
"MASTER OF DIGITAL VIDEO" :DDD

Wanna know somthing about "Resource-Based-Economy" - i.e. utopic communism - read science fiction novels by Eberhardt del Antonio.
He - like a truck load of other authors - layed out the "egalitarian revolutionary idea" of the "future".

Zeitgeist III seriously claims that Fresco "invented" this idea ... and everybody who grew up on the eastern side of the "Iron Curtain" shakes the head about it.

Anyway... back to the topic...

being a quasi retired train-writing-veteran I recently watched this splendid documentary about the Berlin trainwriting scene.
Some friends appearing in it as well as the brother of one of the best ever,
with whom we had great times on his visits in Munich before he ended his life in 2002 ... R.I.P. Ruzd79/DRM

As one of the blokes who shared the same experience for over a decade
I can honestly say ... this is the real McCoy if you want to understand the
motivation of those guys running around writing their names on trains.

Unlike U

Call me oldfashioned, but I think trainwriting is plain vandalism.

"Vandalism" ... one of those terms that got coined by some bloody catholic "historians" who condemned a whole people because of their different christian confession ;)

This documentary shows the viewpoint of the Writer, what motivates them and what effect this schizophrenic lifestyle has on both the Writer and the
people of his "real life" ... one will find some startling similarities to certain aspects of the demoscene.

Doing a good piece - that's art, just tagging or toying is just teen-aged vandalism.

What makes trainwriting different than grafitti? (*Other* than the fact that it is limited to trains, or course?)

Other than that it is two "f" and just one "t", it's the original form and
best surface one can apply "living letters".

Compare it with the size and/or hardware limitations in the demoscene.
PC-demo for instance is in my POV comparable with a s.c. "Hall of Fame" piece.

For the origin of extensive trainwriting you, as a US citizen, might refer to:

...which is probably the first serious attempt of a peek inside this subject.

I recently saw this excellent documentary about the legendary Tresor Club in
which I never made it due to the fact that long queue was long and even longer during the Loveparade weekends 1994 - 96 :_(

I can agree with that, probably the best documentary I've seen about noise music!

I also recommend this: Krautrock - The Rebirth Of Germany

Knuckle
An epic 12-year journey into the brutal and secretive world of Irish Traveler bare-knuckle fighting. This film follows a history of violent feuding between rival clans.

"Demoscene relevance": Near the end of the documentary, the clan is staying at the same hotel where Sunrise was organised \o/
