Hey, yeah! Ambience 2000 for the original release of Rob Is Jarig would be an excellent one to visit as a time traveller. When it came on, you'd climb up to the stage and dance, and everyone would be like "jesus man, what the fuck are you doing?" and you'd be going "don't you get it? In the future this is going to be one of the most famous demos ever, and it's going to be shown at every single demo party and people will dance to it" and they'll be like "um, yeah, whatever".

Whichever party I'd choose, I'd probably be disappointed as it would destroy the nostalgy value for me. Assuming I'd pick a party I have already been to.

Watching Crystal Dream 2 or Second Reality are high on the list, but I'll settle for SIH 1995 for the overall experience. Whether it's Dork Lemming being requested by the fire department to stop setting his computer on fire or watching organizers melt in the heat of the organizer booth, it's just a string of classy moments.

Well, except for the fact that meeting Lizardking mostly meant watching him play Magic The Gathering :)

Or wait, Summer Encounter 1998 for the demo compo. That's fine too.
