scene is about fun and entertainment and anarchism...so bits has its right to exist in scene but his/their selling bad demos also could hurt the scene in one or another way...atleast he should have the cojones to pinpoint buyers to the real demos, showing what its really all about ! ( and also FOR FREE ! )

to live.

i for myself am doing Demos ( mostly 4ks by now ) just for my pleasure and hopefully for others pleasure aswell...

doing demos since 1991 and if i would have had the knowledge earlier i would have done so earlier aswell !

let me tell you like this:
everyones life aint fair and noone has the money to survive, but trying to make money with what is others/ours hobby is UNFAIR !!!!
we´re just trying to meet more people that share our opinions on what is great/nice/whatever and you put in the shitty dollar !

Programming your stuff take just two hours once a little framework is done with SDL. Don't joke,
The framework took me just one week ( precisely 8 hours ) to build it. After two hours just to hour are needed to reach your "level"

Just a last thing (I know you don't care), if you want to sell your program, try to not use the demoscene as a platform (to show your production).
