Bestest Netbook ?!?!

Think 11-12" is the sweet spot for me. 10" and 1024x600 is a tiny bit too small. Also sucks not having a standard vertical resolution (like 768), especially for watching older demos etc. The 1201N has 1366 x 768.
I can live with a battery life of 5-6 hours, which is what my EEE PC 1000h has.

my macbook pro 13" is a GREAT netbook.
A bit expensive though... ;)
definitely :) it's a company perk.
Here, first review of ASUS Eee PC 1201N: http://hothardware.com/Articles/Asus-IonPowered-Eee-PC-1201N-Review :D
I'm watching Asus UL30Vt with droolin'
Looks good and is more powerful (SU7300 + Geforce G210M), but is much more expensive too.
yeah, still retaining long battery life. engadget got 12h 15min out of it.. aand yes its not a netbook anymore.. 680e for lamer version (with only gma4500)
unacceptable!
...for coding-experience!
Eee PC 1201N battery life sucks :(

Sure it's an intel GMA POS but if you're a real man you can live without an nvidia supercomputer.
You just called a substantial amount of idiots here a girl. Fetching, that.
You might want to take a look at the Alienware M11x that was presented at CES. Though it is a bit ugly and expensive compared to a netbook, it is a proper graphics workstation.
- 11,6" with 1366 × 768 resolution
- Core 2 Duo U7300 with 1,3 GHz
- GeForce GT 335M with 1GB of VRAM (you can switch back to the GMA 4500MHD for saving power)
- 3 x USB, FireWire, VGA, HDMI
- 2kg :(
- No optical drive :(
- ~$1000 :(

I'm really happy with my new Acer Aspire 1410 (1.4ghz c2s 3gb ram gma 4500).. yeah, that gpu sucks but can run Lifeforce very smooth at native resolution (1366x768)
