Elbee how is it goin? :'(
Afaik, it's stuck behind real life priorities like house renovating!
Thread resurrection time!
And thanks Leijaa for filling in on the "press rep" duties ;).. Indeed I've been stuck with irl stuff most of the year, basically doing very little else than going to work and renovating the house I bought around this time last year (pulling 12-16 hour days for months & months on end). Wasn't exactly the "ready to move in" kind of deal I took it for.
Anyway good news is, while the house is still not entirely done, I'm now able to allocate time for music projects and move forward with the releases. To kick things off, the first back catalog release is for a couple of Orlando Boom tracks:
https://funnelrec.com/album/glaucous-motion-2
And you would probably know these tracks better from "Medusa" by mfx and "Nebula" by SQNY.
Funnel Records is my label, and I recommend following it up if you like to immediately receive updates on my releases. Among other things I have a album lined up containing (mostly) unreleased game music I've written between 2013 and 2016.
If you're more of a Spotify person, then perhaps follow up this playlist I maintain. It's not as instantaneous with the updates as the Funnel Bandcamp page, but I'll keep adding songs to it I have on the service.

Once again sorry for all the delays, but no doubt the releases will be out eventually :)

One other thing, if anyone graphically talented is willing to help out with some gfx design for the Funnel Bandcamp page please get in touch at elbowski gmail. Album cover artwork welcome too!
Would so like to get rid of all the fugly gfx, kind of lost interest playing around with that stuff when setting up the page :)

Bump bump bumping this post again while continuing work on the comp.
I have something completely new (well, for majority of people anyway) out on 25th of jan 2019, a game music album called Binned Gameworks '13 - 16. Genre-wise it's all over the place, but was just way less work to set up & release all the songs on one album rather than split by game project.
This is one of the lessons learned with the demoscene comp, which now spans three volumes with 15 songs per album+ some bonus content on each ;)

A quick poll (and hopefully the last one too), go click a button on FB.
I would if I had a Facebook account
No FB either. But since you alter stuff anyway I'd vote to replace GM with the real thing. Or do what you feel I trust your intuition :)
yeah, if the whole exercise is about improving stuff el-bee2019 style, then surely you know best yourself how to bring that song up par with your current standards :)
@el-bee: Nice remastering work!
So when can I buy the FLACs? :D
f**k yea, finally!!!
want this as a vinyl release!!!!

Thanks! Some of it has been a real pain for sure and I hope you like the other songs too :)

Bandcamp will handle that and my plan is to upload in higher quality, to counter the fact that I've previously ever only released the originals as 44k/16bit 192k mp3. Masters will be rendered with -1dBFS peak headroom to allow for clip-free transcoding (on or off-site) to any lossy formats. So anyone wanting 'THAT 44k/16b/mp3 SOUND' is catered for too.
Now is that sound like the next cassette or what?! :D

I would definitely love this too, but just the thought of getting rid of all the produce (as in, handling the sales & shipping from .fi) kills me. Sth like a 7" single of the most wanted song might not be that bad tho, for those can be mailed as (non-tracked) letter and not the expensive parcel.
