metoikos: About vegan food supply - count me in. I'll arrive at Revision in the morning on Saturday 19th.
metoikos: Thanks for organizing a decent vegetarian alternative to the ususal wurst and fleisch! please count me and metheara in. :)
Metoikos: yes please!
Count me in as well fellow EATERS OF VEGETABLES
And, found while out on a 1-item scavenger hunt:
(and just in case there's speculation, the above is just me being excited; I'm not indicating participation in the alternative meal program. But maybe you knew that and I'm just being weird down here. Or whatever. Anyway ... carry on!)
metoikos: Count me in. :)
the question is: would pizza even be possible without the wheel??
THE INCREDIBLE LIVE-CODER-MAYHEM 5000: SECOND BATCH OF PARTICIPANTS!
We're proud to announce another three coders who have agreed to engage in live action combat for the inaugural live shader coding competition better known as The Incredible Live-Coder Mayhem 5000. Joining previously announced competitors Kabuto and Blueberry on stage next Friday evening at the E Werk in Saarbrücken are Crypt, skomp and Algorias, whom we warmly welcome and wish the best of luck in achieving greatness!
The event staff is obviously very pleased with the field of competitors so far, but keen mathematicians will quickly figure out that with 5 competitors announced and this event being organised in a knock out tournament format there's still a few spots available for other coders to join the compo. If you think you might enjoy being one of our new heroes, please check out this separate thread where mr. Bonzaj has made a version of the compo tool available for anyone to try, and feel free to post bug reports and comments there as well. Thanks!

Seven: "I was told that the food won’t be that spicy. The chili should have an average spiciness. But of course taste is a highly subjective matter."
Thanks for the support! Now I got deadline stress again \o/
so why do you have deadline stress again?
I'm guessing it was weird not having it so he made sure.
My entry was done, so I started working on an another one, as suggested a few pages back.
Been looking into breweries and brewpubs in Saarbrucken, and so far found only Zum Tiefel near St. Johanner market square (thank you internet for all the out-of-date data!).
Can anyone recommend any Saarbrucken pubs or shops stocking local or specialty beers?

el-bee: you should have a look at "Le Tempelier" - it's a belgian pub at the St. Johanner Markt. Good food, good beer selection. I think that "Zum Stiefel" is more for older people (I think).
But if you're at the St. Johanner Markt - there are many pubs you can choose from. Oro (more for food an cocktails), Langenfeld (also Food but also nice to have a few beers), Tante Maja (mostly students) and yeah... many others.

count me in too please metoikos!
Metoikos: in that case, add 1 for my significant other.
D.Fox: thanks for the tips! I think I mixed Zum Stiefel with Stiefel Bräu. Guess it's the same owners running two different restaurants..

-- == HELLO EATERS OF HUMAN FLESH == -- We will start our way out on the parking lot, and from there eat our way through demosceners all the way into the main hall. On thursday evening, one day before the party starts, we will have a small BBQ feasting on 14 year old gamers from TG. Hope to see you all there.
metoikos; everyone? :-)
