What takes you away from the scene?
category: general [glöplog]
i like doing many things at the same period of time. Many of them are unrelated (or not-so-related) to the scene. At the time that i'm working on these things, i'm out of scene. But then i come back. Something that makes me to go out of the scene is when i get bored and i lost my internet connection...

gargaj made me step back. when i saw kräsh, i knew i'd never be able to do anything that good in my life. it really unmotivated me.
calgon!
why stop for me : real life's concerns, work, directx9, overall demos quality, loosing the friendship in the french scene, too much adult sceners who loose their naivety, too much lamers who not respect our not written rules, loosing the technical challenge concept, end of Amiga and it's particular feelings of an unique hardware for all, projects outside demoscene wich takes me some time...
and why continue ? : have an audience for my prods, learning something about art or computers, express my feelings in a new art form, challenge to be better, having a precise critic of my artwork, challenge to do realtime things with limited means, finding tips to do cool visual things, wasting some time on pouët and exchange point of view with foreigner people, challenge in partys, and to be famous of course ,]
