It's nice to have video captures - it is now possible to even watch new Amiga demos on an average pile of PC junk.
However, it would be even nicer to be able to watch some new PC demos too.

there should be a monthly dvd-series with newest demos, so that people could keep up with what's going on.

Anyway, more people should try and make their productions run on older hardware if it's possible. Some of the demos from the Textmode demo comp 7 won't run on my P200/Win98. Wtf!?

the_Ye-Ti: Yes, it's non-MMX. I've got a better machine to run TMDC stuff on now but i thought the idea of textmode prods was that it would work on almost anything?
Not really... It's more using the limitations of the 'textmode' format of the IBM PC series of machines.
But yes loads of people make that assumption. And then when you tell them 'no, of course they don't work on all computers, I have an Amiga and Mac they won't run on natively' they tell me those aren't real computers. Because, apparently, you have to have textmode for it to be a 'real' computer.
And people wonder why I prefer insanity to reality.
