Seems fast and smooth but I can't really test further because find-as-you-type brings up my find dialog on each keypress. You should preventDefault() them. :)

Will change keys to standard ones in an hour or so (must go out now).

Raina: what is this find-as-yout-type, a plugin?

Anyway, new update has fov on , and . instead of [ and ] (should be more standard on international keyboards).

And although I don't love preventDefault(), I added that as well.

@imerso, it's a Firefox setting now actually called "Search for text when you start typing" which lets you find text without hitting Ctrl+F or something first.

And now removed the initial bandwidth hog video.
