I should pick a different name in the future, but I want it to be good one, so I'll hold onto DOSBox-X for now.

I'll admit core=auto isn't tested very often. I tend to test against core=normal and a fixed cycles count.
Svga / vesa modes do not work properly on my mac. The palette is wrong. The same problem exists with the original dosbox.
Only under boxer svga/vesa works perfect.

I'll have to look into that, but I think it has to do with Mac OS X using a weird byte order like RGBX where the RGB bytes are in the upper 24 bits of the DWORD instead of the lower 24 bits.
