People maybe thought iPad would be a tablet computer, which it isn't, and that's where they go wrong when they're bashing it. It's a big iPod touch with a decent sized screen to watch movies or read ebooks, not a computer.

Strange... I always thought the iPod Touch was nothing more than a mini handheld tablet computer.

People are bashing it because it was SOOO hyped up to be SOOO worderfull and AWESOME. But in reallity, it was not.
Fun to have for travle and such,no doubt, but nothing to throw your ass up in the air for IMO :)(
