You are very welcome to join us for our 20th party since 1992. Great compos, big prizes, huge screen, thousands in audience, ... well you know what to expect =).

The hill next doors is likely to be teeming with the classic Boozembly stuff, but that's not disorganized by us =).

We are putting together a bit of special stuff to celebrate this landmark. More about that later.

Remote entries are accepted in all compos provided that you have a representative at the party to hand-in the entry, talk with the jury if needed and pick up any possible prizes.

There are typically more than a few folks that are willing to help out. This thread is a good place to ask for a helper or join the ASM scene mailing list at http://justiina.assembly.org/mailman/listinfo/oldskool-list and post it there.

If the first Assembly was held in 1992, the 20th years birthday will be next year isn't it?

Rez: in the old days assembly used to be on a different date, they probably skipped 1 year, or did 2 in the same year.

Just count with fingers from 1992 to 2011, it is the 20th ;)

A question to ASM orgas: any chance of preliminary schedule? This is already needed for buying airtickets beforehand. At least rough info about compos and their deadlines would be much appreciated (e.g. both intro categories).

The schedule from year 2010 is very much like this year's schedule. Compo deadlines are at the same places as most compos are about at the same time.

I've been sitting on my lazy ass for last week, trying to avoid my dev env hard by playing nethack and what not. I'm starting to lose the fight against my IDE and I keep going to it more and more day by day.
