i just need homework help. as part of one of my courses i have to submit a megaload of questionnaires or i get marks deducted off my psychology course grade (which is silly - because proving that i have friends is not the same thing as knowing the subject, right?) (its also silly because i work weekend nights) (and since when have universities been able to force you to have friends?)

so if anybody is bored it would be ace if you could give this a go -

fun is altso trying to find workarounds to game developers errors, in the case of gears of war, all you ahve to do is install SDK for Direct X 9. manually update Agea PhysX, install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, manually update XLiveRedist.msi, get hold of openAL and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 install those along with Install "Force ASPI 1.17".

ut your GoW disc in your DVD drive and start the installer.
Click on "More options"
Un-click the box that says "Launch GoW"
Click the box that says "Install Editor"
Change the installation folder location to either "C:\Gears of War" or if you have many drives...e.g. "F:\Gears of War"
(whichever you prefer - just NOT in program files)

Dowload the "titleupdate" v1.1 patch and install it. and so on and so forth. I have managed to remove a lot of the stuttering, random crashes, freezes, entire system lockups etc. And then it hit me.

Gears of war is a fantastic game, but not for action lamers like myself, but for coders. Its a coders game and apparently the mission is to get the software to boot at all. Thats level one. If that happens then theres all the strange shit to deal with one at a time by trial end error...

i whole heartedly reccomend gears of wars to coders. I think theres an action game in there somewhere, but i wouldnt know, I HAVENT GOTTEN TO IT YET!!!! now thats fun!

haha, what a mess, and thanks! i didn't come up with the topic. i have beef with this questionnaire - like the last page is supposedly an indicator of your cultural activities but makes no provision for making or watching demos, skywriting, motocross, mediaeval weaponsmithing, live action roleplay, tank racing, motorcycle modifications or lolcat posting or *anything* - wtf?
