I setup an SSH server, reformatted my computer, played planescape torment, read a book, did some programming and mowed the lawn. :)

We went to an amazing restaurant in Montreal where we had:

- Lamb blinis, sautéed fennel, spicy tomato oil
- Foie gras served two ways; one pan-fried with mango and vanilla, the other cooked "au torchon"
- Loin of caribou, beet caramel, gnocchi with parsley and caramelized squash straws
- Pan-fried lobster, root vegetable risotto, lobster cream (\/)oo(\/)

That sounds so bourgeois :)

I sat in a couch and vegetated for 48 straight hours.

boozed on friday and saturday as usual (not that much on friday though), played some aoe3, watched a movie (mortal kombat 2 :), ...

I had to watch spot/exceed a few times because my daughter enjoys it so much (yawn!)..

Friday: Friend came over after work and wew drank home brew while watching streaming svf videos, then i skated in the raind for 3 hours while listening to music and hitting on women.

Saturday: Went to a party, listened to 5th year med students talk about themselves.

Sunday: Watched movies with gf and lesbian flatmates(they are cool) movies: bandidas and alien (director's cut)

Beer, Wine, BBQ, Movies, Some games, Fun and boredom mixed in the form of a nice mellow weekend for a change.

Laundry and other assorted weekly chores, a nice long walk in the sun with a nice big slurpee, installed PCLinuxOS, did some reading, practiced some kanji, watched a movie with a friend, watched the fireworks (Canada day), messed around with my computer, checked out the random image thread, and now I'm going to clean my teeth and go to bed.

I went to a metal festival and saw the following bands: Moonsorrow, Dragonforce, Maj Karma, Immortal, Katatonia, Before the Dawn, Pain, Thunderstone, W.A.S.P, Brother Firetribe, Isis (which rocked beyond belief), 45 Degree Woman, Emperor, Mercenary, Blind Guardian, Finntroll and D'espairs Ray.

I also drank alcohol and didn't sleep very much.

Got a new pasport (for which one needs a horrible photo these days) drank with a friend and provided her with good music (Justice!), fucked around with my new laptop, had friends over, went to Electronation, danced my dick off to good music, went into town, bought stuff, had good food, laughed at american tourists, laughed at british tourists, laughed at tourists in general. Watched a movie or 2 (Don't watch Super Troopers, it sucks dick) Made some music.

It was a pretty good weekend.

hiked 20 km, biked 20 km and drove about 200 km. had some portugese and italian food. went to electronation and saw familiar faces (!). i completed god of war 2 (what a game...) and.. made it through an alcohol test from the police too, yippee!

A contradiction in terms, Okkie :)

Helped installing a ceiling in my soon-to-be bathroom, was so bushed that I missed Okkie dancing his dick off (a sight no doubt worth seeing). Finished the last of the network wall sockets in my new place, had a friend over to discuss a design and pretty much the rest of the time I banged my head on my desk trying to get around a couple of limitations in an image loader for a demo I was working on. Also ordered a new notebook, since dragging my shitty XPC rig to to foreign places sucks.
