I'm currently working on the new www.chiptune.com, you can take a look at:

chiptune.untergrund.net

I made everything in HTML+Javascript using some AJAX tricks to get data from MySQL.

There some bugs here and there, sometimes the data aren't loaded, so try to reload everything (if someone can help me with that damn XmlHttpRequest...).

It work fully under Firefox 1.5, I heard there's some problems with window's border on old Fiferox version.

The site will work on IE but it can load data for the moment (but all the javascript is ok...).

Feedback wanted ! Tell me what do you think about my new website :)

loading author/z/zalza takes *ages* and everything freezes.. i really dont know how to work around this with ajax, but there should be some way..

intel outside feels lame.

annoying bug when you drag down the workbench screen, you can loose focus with mouse and it will keep following you until you click the menubar..

right cliking gives me firefox menu and everything that makes you feel like youre in a browser sucks.

When it lags between loads, and takes a long while, I keep wanting to hit control-amiga-amiga cuz I think it's locked up.

The starfield stops working at times. Juggler didn't seem to.

Yeah, I don't know why but when I update the DOM (when I open a new window for example) some javascript object disapear...

I seriously hope this collection of gimmicks is not going to go live as the actual site? I mean, they're cute and all -but to use this to wade through a sea of chiptunes? fuck no.

shifter: if you don't want to browse you can always fly to "data" -> "packs" and download big .zip with all chiptunes for each format :)
