It's !TUM until it's TUM!
After a way too long break, we are finally back in action!
!TUM is the spiritual successor to the well beloved TUM demoparty. We want to celebrate our scene, art and friends one last time in 2024, before we head into 2025. And what would be a better way to close the year, than watching a few compos?
So join us from December 27th to 29th 2024 at Sonnenberghalle Helferskirchen!

Montabaur is a small town, there are regular licensed taxis, but I doubt that there's anything else ("Funkmietwagen" including Uber) available.
There is also a bus line connecting Montabaur railway station and Helferskirchen, it might be an option for some folks but it only runs every two hours and the last bus departs 17:00 to 19:00-ish - and there's no schedule for late December yet.

We will fill the website with more information as the planning progresses. Right now a guesstimate entrance fee of around €50 for a normal ticket seems realistic. Social ticket would be €25 in this case.

I also already mailed them (Hotel "Alte Viehweide") on August 20th, they did not reply so far, and booking.com says :"Diese Unterkunft ist vom 27. Dez. bis 29. Dez. nicht auf unserer Seite verfügbar."
Does that mean that there are no open hotels in walking distance? I just had a quick look on the map at it seemed like that.
closest other place i could find was at least 5km down the road

!TUM is cancelled
It is with a heavy heart that we need to announce that !TUM 2024 cannot happen after all.
Even after several inspections and planning meetings with the location before the announcement, we have now found several showstoppers that wouldn’t allow us to party with you the way we all expect.
A big thank you to all the organizers and helpers that stepped up to make !TUM happen, the support by the TUM-organizers, and the many excited and kind messages from everyone planning to visit the party.
We will see each other at one of the next upcoming demoparties, and hope that we can pull things off in a future edition of !TUM.

ouch, i was looking forward to this party a lot. thankfully this early warning will leave the opportunity to cancel reservations intact. thanks for keeping us update!

I probably would not have been able to attend this year, but I was so glad to hear tUM was back. And by tUM, I don't mean as much tUM as I mean an end of year party.
