It's a special edition on a Saturday to allow US demosceners to participate without those lame "but i should be at work" excuses :)

the only reason we don't always do it on saturdays is because usually there is a demoparty happening on saturdays and it would clash with possible compo livestreams. we picked this specific date because there were less demoparties happening this weekend then normal.
