I didn't mind the party version but I did like the final more but also I was unable to run the party version on three different W10 X64 machines. Not sure why. It wouldn't even attempt to launch even in compatibility modes. I'm hoping the final release will run :)

Thanks wysiwtf! I'm going to be trying to get it to run. So far no dice. I don't even see it start as a process in W10. Maybe doesn't like the Nvidia card. Its what I use in all three machines.

have you tried recrinklering it (crinkler /recompress exefile or sth. like that)? stupid nvidia drivers have issues with crinkler below 1.4...

I have not and wouldn't even know where to begin but I guess I should definitely try researching this. I have three PCs and all are W10 at the moment. One has a GTX 560Ti, one is a GTX 280 and one is a GTX 460. I guess they pretty much must use the same NVidia driver. I have not bothered to upgrade the driver over whatever W10 detected and installed as I don't really game anymore.

as said the files run without problems on my win10 x64 with a 660 ti gfx card. so im pretty sure recompression with crinkler was either already done by me (cant remember) or isnt required.

Hmm then I have no idea why it wont run. You get the hourglass - well spinning circle indicating something is happening but nothing ever shows up into the windows process list and no errors. I did try disabling UAC and running as admin and also compatibility mode with W8 or 7 and no go. Never any error messages either. Two machines are AMD FX (6 core and an 8 core) and one machine is an Intel i5. The only common thing here might be the version of NVidia driver. Its still whatever MS installed during the W10 install. I'll try updating drivers as I can think of anything else these three systems have in common.

Well so far nothing has got it working. Video driver updates, disabling anything running in the background, no antivirus, no UAC.. The only thing left in common with the three systems now is that they all have a fair bit of RAM. One has 20GB and the other two have 32GB.

Anyone can choose any avatar they like. You can try convincing them that they should make their own avatar, though.

Hmm that's interesting. Ya I didn't even go out to choose any kind of avatar. Are they assigned when one joins?
