we decided to make a nice and wild demo about three months before the
deadline. first we planned to use some old routines from our first (unre-
leased) demo called matura'97, but now actually every part is completely new.
while quorg cared about general stuff (VESA, MIDAS, sync), nema had the great
pleasure of coding the effects. the whole demo is coded under windows95
(yes, windows95!) in watcom c++ and wASM. the demo should run under windows95
but due to some syncronization problems that cause ugly flickering and
palette-failures, we hardly recommend you to run it under good old
DOS
requirements: pentium (pentium 133+..)
VESA 2.0 (*must* support PM)
13 MB RAM
soundcard supported by MIDAS (nosound option also available)
NOTE: ù if your SVGAcard supports VESA2.0 but the demo exits anyway,
try again, using univbe (Scitech Display Doctor)
ù remember: the demo *requires* 13MB RAM
(16MB RAM and SMARTDRV 4096 *won't* work... :)

extern is new, free and different. we don't know to much about the demo-
scene yet, but we think we have the knowledge to go on...
