303 [qmg] by Queue Members Group
"303" Queue Members Group Art Division production ...made after christmas as promised 1. technical info this trackmo(?) uses borland's 16-bit dos extender and requires no more than 386+ CPU, VGA and about 1.5M (or 2M, i dunno exactly) of free memory. no free memory check is done so if you encounter a hangup or get your monitor blown - just free more memory. QEMM, EMM386, HIMEM, clean boot, OS/2 DOS session - all works well enough. but watching this stuff without at least 486-66(100?) and sound card is just meaningless wasting of your time. if your don't have a box equipped well enough then grab some beer and go to your friend who does. P.S. Oh, I almost forget: if you run this demo with keyword 'saveconfig' (case sensitive, don't type quotes ;) as command line switch then your sound card configuration will be saved and MIDAS setup screen will no longer bother you until you delete 303.CFG. 2. disclaimer there's neither an official production nor a demo party competition.it's no more than our art and technical experiments done for our-own-fun-only. so if you don't like it - don't bother us and just delete the demo from your H(ea)D. we don't care. but bug reports and greetings are quite welcome. we don't care that we don't care ;-) p.s. if your want to see our real demo production then get somewhere our demo called GLITCH - winner of Enlight'95 party demo compo. the best way to get is ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/demos/alpha/1995/g/glitchfx.zip. 3. credits (because the demo doesn't have them) Mad Max - code/gfx Rogers - music/gfx 4. files in package: 303.EXE - demo executable 303.NFO - what you're reading now FILE_ID.DIZ - short description 303.S3M - music module 303.RES - resource file RTM.EXE - borland's dos extender DPMI16BI.OVL - borland's dos extender 5. how to contact us Mad Max : 2:5057/14@fidonet (the best way - it's our home site) mad_max@infosoc.com (the worst way) Rogers : 2:5057/18.6@fidonet (the only way - don't bother me ;] Signed, Mad Max / Queue Members Group Rogers / Queue Members Group ask us privately what "303" means... ;-)
