THIS IS A BETA RELEASE, IT IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION!
Well, this is our first production on the PC. As many of you guys may have seen
or heard, it crashed badly in the PC democompetition at The Party 4. I guess
we are trying to apologize for this in some way, though we do know that there
isn't really any excuse for releasing a bugged demo.
The problem is that we hardly know anything about programming the PC... yet!
You'll probably say: "They shouldn't have released anything then!", BUT in
our opinion the demoscene is for having fun, and not only for business, so
there should be room to fuck up! We hope you all will give us a second chance
when we release our next demo. We wanted to pull out the demo from the contest
when we realised that it didn't work properly, but we weren't allowed to, so
I guess that kinda sucks, eh? We actually tested this demo on quite a few
machines, from 386dx40 up to 486dx2/80 - even an IBM Laptop, and the demo worked
on all of them, so we thought it worked, but no!
We are sorry. Both about the fact that this demo MIGHT (mostly likely not)
crash on your computer, and the fact that it's a not finished product due to
the deadlines.
Either way, please check out the final version when it is released, and look
out for our coming productions.....
At least we learned that the PC is a cumbersome machine to code on, and that
you should take nothing for granted! Sorry for any inconvenience!
