Which without : : we'd never be motivated to make this : : one. : : : : Zweckform of Paradox for the Falcon : : 3D-model. : : : : Kalms of TBL for the fast c2p routine. : : : : NoRing and NoBrain of NoCrew for the : : superfast Mpeg Audio player. : : : : To various websites for ideas, material : : and information. : : : : The mental care museum in Säter for : : providing ideas and information. : : : : The organisers of the Big Floppy People : : who ruined our summer holidays by : : throwing a party at this time of the : : year.. : : : : The Amigascene for doing some truly : : amazing 060-demos and setting the bar : : really high, some day, we'll catch up ;): : : : Personal thanks from Evil and Gizmo to : : Crazy Q for the awesome music, which he : : composed after our wishes and delivered : : in nearly no time at all. : : : :....................................................: : : : Notes: So here is our first Falcon demo for : : over five years. Yes, it's been far far : : too long. Hopefully the next one will : : not take that long. The demo was mainly : : made during July 2006, after resting a : : bit from the Outline releases (invit : : and 96k). : : : : We had many more ideas which has been : : put aside due to deadline reasons, yes : : isn't that the thing every damn time? : : Some of the screens have material photo-: : graphed from a deserted mental asylum : : for criminals that was in use from 1912 : : to 1989, it's been falling apart bit by : : bit since then. Although a bit scary : : to enter, it had a great impact and : : helped doing a few of the screens. : : : : The idea, which might be hard to spot, : : is a beginning with an uplifting and : : clean feeling. Where the second part : : has mentally gone right to hell. It was : : harder to illustrate than expected. : : : : : : On a technical note, this demo is using : : our new 3D-routines we call "Real 3D" : : which features certain things we havn't : : had support for in earlier demos. : : All but one screen are using 8 bit depth: : with 24 bit palette and a resolution : : of 320x180 pixels. The demo and 3D : : engine should be easy to port to other : : platforms and an Amiga port is planned : : in the near future. : : A full tutorial and sourcecode release : : of Real 3D will likely be made in the : : coming months (or years..). : : : : Some of it's features are; : : : : - Cubic splines for camera motion : : - Full 3D-clip including near and far : : Z-clip : : - High resolution floating point : : geometry calculations : : - Subpixel and subtexel accuracy : : - Polygon rasterizers for flat, : : gourad, texturemapped and envmapped : : polygons : : - Additional drawing primitves; : : anti-alias linedrawing, anti-alias : : dots. : : - Full UV-mapping of objects : : : :....................................................: : : : : : That's it, we hope to see many new Falcon releases : : from YOU in the future, the Falcon deserves more : : stuff. : : : : : : : : : : : : Never give up - stay Atari! : : : : : : : :....................................................:
