This textfile belongs to crescent's new demo called 'Far Beyond Reality'. ABOUT CRESCENT ============== I am a member of the german two-man-demo-group CRESCENT. My pseudo is XPLORA, and I am coding in C+ASM on a StrongARMed RPC600. My real name is Niels Oltmanns. The other member, NFORCER, is coding on a PC. Well, we decided to make the same demo, called FAR BEYOND REALITY, both running on a RPC and on a normal PC. But now NFORCER is studying and I decided to release the demo without time consuming coordination to do the same demo on both systems. To run the demo you need: ------------------------- * 1 StrongARMed RiscPC * 8 Megabyte of free ram * 1 Megabyte of vram Technical Infos: ---------------- The demo runs in a 480x352 mode at 256 colors. All polygonroutines are pure C!!! The phong-shaded objects are REALLY realtime phong-shaded! The environment mapped face consist of 2484 polygons!
