You'll find it at http://www.scitechsoft.com/) -About 8 mb RAM (we don't know the exact amount, but 8 should be enough) But for the demo to look nice, you need a better system... Reccomended system: -A 133 MHz Pentium -All video features listed above -A fast videocard -A soundcard -Etc If you want to disable soundcard autodetection, just type a parameter when running the .exe. (Like "TWISTED S") ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * About VESA * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Some of you might think it's lame of us to require VESA-stuff, but remember that VESA is the only real video standard for the future. And most importantly, it's cool too. If you want to discuss this, check out the "Contacting us"-part below. Important: This is the partyversion of the demo, and it doesn't run on videocards without 320x200x24bit. The reason why we don't support 320x200x32bit is that our cards don't support that mode, so it's hard for us to code for it. ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * About the demo * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ This is Sublevel 3 's first demo, and also the first full demo made by the coders of this group. Sublevel 3 was originally a musicgroup, but Calibra and opaQue joined recently, so we figured it would be fun to release something at TG97, and this is the result. It's a bit of a rushed effort, so it's not very long, but we hope you like it. If you have any comments on the demo, please write to us. If you think it's too short, too long, too ugly or too pretty, we want to know. But! If there's something you don't like, please tell us how *you* think it should have been done. Remember, the scene is all about communication! ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * About the group * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Why waste space when you can check out http://muumuu.origo.telenor.no/sl3/. If you want to contact the group, see below. ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * Contacting us * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Games publishers: We want to make games! Our greatest ambition is to make cool games, so don't hesitate to contact us. Sceners: If there's anything you want to discuss - coding, music, Calibra's haircut etc. - drop us a mail. If you can, please try email first. Contact: Ingar Gravem (Calibra) -Phone: 32721133 -Cellular phone: 9096547 Johan Oeverbye (opaQue) -EMail: anoeverb@online.no -Phone: 32724539 or 32734968 Christian Stigen Larsen (Beacon) -EMail: chrisl@fm.unit.no If you're calling from outside Norway, you need the direction number +47. ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * Greetings * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ We didn't have a greetingspart in the demo, simply because we think most text in demos, and specially greetings, are boring. So here come the greetings to some groups we like.... TBL, Valhalla, Logic Design, Psychic Link, CNCD, Pulse, Noon, Orange, Maak, Complex, Apathy, Ketchup Killers, Xenogenesis etc, etc, plus all other cool demogroups and scenepeople Keep up the good work! Greetings to our homies - you know who you are. Special thanks to a guy at TG who helped us with some optimizing, and was very cool. Nice that somebody understand that parties are great for communication on the scene. We don't know his name, but he was swedish and hung out with TBL. ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ * We'll be back * ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ This is only the beginning. Expect better demos (and games?) from Sublevel 3. Bye bye till next time!
