I hope you like this little anaglyphic experiment.
Currently, the download points to the party version that I sent in the last minute. I'll update the file in the coming days (hopefully releasing a final version).

I feel tired but very happy to have participated in such a good compo!
Check the other entries too. They were all good.

Watched without 3d glasses so I don't know how well it works out. Trippy prod all round though. Enjoyed watching it

Thumbs for effort. Haven't gotten my 3d glasses yet, I'd be curious to see if some visuals are too noisy or do well. Ran it in my 68030 as an experiment (slow but not as much as I expected) but probably I should try on 68060 or emul :)

It was quite funny during the compo because the 3D DOESN'T work (maybe on purpose?) and people kept putting their glasses on and off. The reason it doesn't work is clear on the screenshot - there is a symmetrical filter AFTER the red blue separation, so on half of the image you have the blue on the left and then the blue on the right. The result is completely mixed up depth cues and a headache. But maybe that was intentional !?

Certainly it's intentional.

The thing is that it works for me and some other people... Maybe it's some kind of neurodivergence test. :]

As someone who put some effort into figuring out how stereoscopy even works: No neurodivergence or lack thereof is going to help you here. That mirror effect kills the 3D on one side of the screen, and yes, you see "something" as in your brain tries to figure out wtf its sensory input means, and you might perceive the visuals as not quite on the screen, but that's not actual depth. Leaving out the green channel, the low frame rate, and the noisy background also don't help.

But all of this is easy to fix, and I'm looking forward for another entry next year or so :)

Watching this demo makes you feel like a microscopic fly built with general artificial intelligence dreaming inside a 68020.
