diver is a great pixel artist but most of these images are ZX pixeled versions of images of 3rd party authorship, so in that respect i would wish / expect the original authors to also be credited on this slideshow when listing the titles and year of release of each image.

That's a fair point, but also a pretty high bar to clear. Artwork in demos usually does not come with detailed credits of underlying inspirations. I presume that if Diver didn't credit the author himself (as he did for instance on a Boris Vallejo picture), he might not have known them.
If you recognize the original sources, please let us know and we will be happy to credit them in the pak in some form.

i guess the best way to have all credits would be to ask diver if he remembers
the ones i recognized at first glance: 1 and 17 are by made/bomb, think atleast the first is also a copy referenced from somewhere else. 3 is by kidlove from the haujobb demo of same name but redrawn from a cd cover of a josh wink release. 5 was drawn by tmk but maybe also referenced from a photo. i also recognize 6 from a demoscene demo but not sure where from right now. 10 is the obvious boris vallejo. 11 is by inferno/quad but is also referencing photos.

Just to keep you posted - the list of references has been compiled and will be included in the archive (as a text file or part of the readme, sadly it is too late to change the visuals). We may couple it with some other minor changes being discussed (like an addition of a TR-DOS version), so please allow some time for this to go through.
