PET has no external video out. The only way record the video directly from the machine is to build a custom composite board adapter. Not an hard task, but I never would have made it in time for the party.
Anyway, the demo relies on the actual CRT screen of the machine so we ended up recording the screen footage. Just to clarify the occasional stutters present in the video are just because of the camera!

Just wanted to mention that I managed to get this working on my MiniPET 40/80 by "The Future was 8 Bit". However, you do have to set the "Video Output" dip-switches to 9" PET. In that mode the timing is basically the same as on the old PETs. If you leave it on the original "Composite video"-setting the HI-RES effects of the demo will not work.
