This is my port of firedemo by Jare/Iguana, the first ever fire effect. It is a tribute to this effect, wich is now 10 years old!

Yeah! The old iguana version in the zip inside the zip, almost crashed the sound under windows, but now I can run the port TeXel did :)

Way to go TeXel. And I hope I will see your first real demos of you sooner or later..

Btw,. my favorite effects are plasmas. They are so nice, colorfull and easy to do and optimize! But fire rules too..

This was origionally done in asm, to me that is amazing regardless of if it's just one effect.
Obviously those who are thumbing it down don't code..

Writing this kind of fire-effect in asm is not hard. It's probably one of the first effects you learn to code:)

The asm argument is the most stupid thing I've heard. If you like asm so much, you should thumb up almost all Amiga releases, for example.

Perhaps there's some historical significance I can't quite grasp, but this is just a fire effect, nothing more. It's not even good for toasting marshmallows!!
