This shows well how this kind of stuff can be put together in one night from scratch.

the most depressing part is that same kind of shit actually won the combo under Haujobb-label

as the creator of the music + some gfx + 3d on this demo, i want to say, that people should see how easy it is to make this kind of ARTYCRAP. You shouldn't blame us about the thing that actually this demo was 8th of total 30 demos. This is my opinion. This Gfx which is simple and wannabe-artistic took only ~10-20min/pic to make. You should respect non-abstract art.

This is about as good as "liquid... wen?".. both have ugly artycrap stuff. Haujobb demo looks better than this, but it's so boring, but taesmaeraekae otoh is shorter so it's on the very same line with hjb. And a good parody of their stuff, I must say. If it's true this was put together in one night, I must say that haujobb truly sucks for winning competitions with such a small amount of effort.

as a parody it´s quite okay. even good.
and yes - you proved that it´s easy to make this "artycrap" in a pretty short amount of time. (and you got a well deserved 8th place for it.)
whereas haujobb proved that with some talent and effort it is possible to make something absolutely beautiful as liquid wen...
btw. - explaining jokes is so not funny.

the production time is not fake, I sat next to these guys. They started working some 10 minutes before the deadline and it was finished before dawn.

TAAt's intro was ok, but this was quite lame. And Haujobb parodies have been done many times before.

I think Haujobb should do a Taat parody.

I've always hated every single taat prod there is, and this falls into same category as well.
Instead of trying (poorly) to mock hjb, why don't you just do something of your own? No talent? Too bad...

and if I remember right this was done mainly by two musicians..;) And I can prove also that this was done in 12h, because I did some 10min-gfx for this..=)
come on guys, never heard about humor? There is already actually some quite good tAAt-parody done by unique-guys..=) check if you find "plAAp"-demos..=)

Random, you keep defending the prod - which is OK by me because I don't believe parodies are necessarily displays of disrespect, and the demo wasn't even exactly _bad_, and Crud's musical output is good as usual.

However, I don't think that it's exactly the prod that you have received (and will continue to receive) a lot of the dissing for. I'm sorry, but joke or not, that Liquid Wen downvote flood was simply LAME.

Well, maybe it's just me but it's suspicious to see some of the same people who have explained this demo and the making of it here give consecutive negative comments over there, using similar terms, making similar points.

I'm not the kind of person who would attack someone for just disliking something or who would even condone such behaviour, but all those comments just seem like the result of a mutual decision to me.

Ah, good, just wanted to get that clear. If that is the case then I don't really have any problems with this.

But for argument's sake, what if we take 'full-cost accounting' into consideration. How many years did it take to get your coding skill up to this level? Same for music and graphic skills. Perhaps when all that is added up it took you much longer, maybe a few years more, to create this demo versus the amount of time Haujobb needed to develop their abilities for Liquid Wen.

I have never done any 2d-gfx to any demo. So I must say I have no pre-skills for it :)
Phaser has skills to way better stuff than this, so no-one shouldn't underestimate him.

There's so many people who dis tAAt-prods because of the name.
