This is a small intro (not size wise) I made to Deadline 2015. I made it mostly while travelling so ihe party version is not as polished as it could be. I'll do a final version (maybe 4k, maybe not) after I recover from the party. :)

Minimalistic, but nicely composed! I enjoyed it on a big screen.

Good one, especially for a one person prod. Decent music too.

I received some reports related to some bugs in unpacking png in win7 which broke some of intros that uses png packing. I'll update the download link to contain also unpacked version.

Here is also a link to unpacked online version

Couldn't get this working under Chrome (tried packed, unpacked, online - black screen with music) and it's really slow on Firefox :/ But I did like what I saw/heard, and I enjoyed what little progression there was.

Very ominous, I like it. It's simple, but doesn't aim to be anything more than that. Sometimes simplicity just works. Great colors again too.

quite uneventful for a one screener
Gargaj: Was there any error messages in console? It might be that the webgl context was lost due too long compilation time of the shaders. This has happened to me sometimes but not with this intro.

Slideshow on Firefox 41 and Nvidia GTX660, even though that most probably should not happen. Video?

I got the same warnings initially in chrome, because webgl crashed (silently), most likely due to the relatively long compile time. Also during compile it seems to take a pretty insane amount of memory, I saw numbers over a gigabyte. Worked after freeing some memory and reloading webgl.

good direction!

noby: Heh yeah, I did a bit of debugging and it turns out once you compile the first fragment shader, the second compilation will fail no matter what that shader is. The fun part is, even getTranslatedShaderSource returns an empty string :D

It's not only the webGL that takes memory but also the music creation which actually caused me quite lot of trouble while doing the intro. I'll try to check if I can get any of these issues fixed or at least improved when doing final version.

For me it works in windows 8 laptop with integrated Intel graphics card with chrome (ok.. 5fps but it still runs without any errors) and win 7 desktop machine with GTX 960 using chrome (60FPS). So I guess the memory usage and shader compilation times are the bottlenecks here.

If someone else has ran into the same problems before and know how to fix those I'll be happy to take advice.

Oddly, it works in Chrome (45.0.2454.101) at home. I'll try some more trickery tomorrow.

Dafuq, how did I click the thumb down button? (I blame being on a bus and the trackpoint being shaky :P)
Was of course meant to be: BB Image

Very nice! Did you read the part about discontinuity reduction in the paper you mentioned in the .nfo?

_vincent: I did but I haven't implemented that particular part yet. Maybe for next intro I'll get that done as well. :)
