my limit? hell no. 90% of the code was written by reverend red, not me. and the sound routines were already far below what i could do when this was released, i just sucked on the party :)

You will never be able to run this on any machine again... it's just too fucked up.

Ryg might remember that I did some very strange things in the engine code - which, after all, could have been used to kick some ass - but we did not have enough time at the party. Imagine you have a decent engine, an okay texture generator, some motion and 3d objects code and rendering stuff in ~1.8k, IIRC. Ryg gave me his sound code at the party, we did not have any music (just a bass drum and an electric guitar which was originally meant to be something else... lol).

Of course the sound code had its problems with my (to say the least) non-standard memory management.... and that's were the trouble began.

It was, however, a kinda nice looking intro for that time. ;) Don't call it "buggy", it's just "incompatible". :-)
