IINM the CRTC allows to set the video/screen address, without big ass alignment restrictions ( like the 256 bytes alignment restriction on Atari STf ), at any moment and immediately applies the change, right ?
WTF!? Is this the best plasma I've ever seen on an 8 bit (I'm tempting to say "on a non PC platform"...) or what? Still I can't help but wonder, Overflow, why not keep this for a part of a bigger demo? Unless this is just *a teaser* for things to come?

Best 4k yet?
What I like in this one, beside being the best plasma by far on the CPC, are the little touches. Plasma flashing with the music sync, stripes of negative colors, opening/closing transitions, etc.
p.s. I am trying to figure how the black stripes over the plasma works (but I see color cycling in half of the colors, though the black patterns doesn't seem to be matching the other shape of the plasma, though this could just be an illusion)

Really good 4k! And especially when it's full screen, full framerate, 50Hz. CPC's true indexed palette is so good when used like this.
@Optimus: About black stripes: they do match the shape of the plasma, of course. Black stripe on the screen is vertically higher, if the color of the plasma at that point is "high". Different colors (="heights") turn to black at different times and that's why they seem a bit wavy. (Roughness on the edges = dithering..).

One of the best 8-bit plasmas I've seen. Still not very interesting through...

The sines were maybe a bit dull, but adding the black lines to the plasma made it feel really fresh. Nice idea!

On the technical side, I think it don't need 4K, because it's "just" wobbler generated like plasma... But using an AYC player probably takes a lot of space.
