Not so far from this other game
As other stated : gfx are not that good but in my opinion this is not really important. gameplay is really nice and this really what I expect from that kind of game.
there is tons of pouet games submitted each year with decent gfx, pixels shaders and so but sometimes controls are really poor or limited and that ruins everything.
what is really missing here is some other levels. theme set could also be changed over levels (with palmtrees, stones, etc.. )
if you do so, outrun would have a definitive competitor.

48:00, I have a soft spot for racing games like this, nicely made, just needs sound/sound effects and some more levels.

i second wullon. even if p01's link was a DHTML game, it's not a good reason to thumb down a product just because of a better one exists. that way, we had to thumb down 99% of the products, right? of course p01 is always free to dislike any product. but the reason matters.
