Very atmospheric, crazy visuals and scary sound. Any help on keys?

Keys/controls:
W or UP ARROW - walk forward
S or DOWN ARROW - walk backward
A - walk left
D - walk right
SPACE - throw bomb
mouse - rotate camera

Q or LEFT ARROW - rotate camera left
E or RIGHT ARROW - rotate camera right

ESCAPE - menu

I really didn't like the way camera works. Most of the time when the guy you control gets near the "seaside" the camera stays on the same height, making your avatar nearly invisible as he moves down. Other than that a piggie - the prod gets boring really quickly.

i think bombs make holes on the landscape. nice! :)

interesting as an experiment - but you have a lot of work to do if you want it to be "fun"

Funny! I have watched a lot of ascii/ansi demos but maybe it's the first time I play a 3d game this way.

You can't see your character though the way the camera moves. You can't see what's going on sometimes.

great graphics even if the gameplay could be better.

piggy, camera ruins all the lowbrow fun, which was spread thin ad it is, unplayable for me ... and a smidge too ugly, no down thumb though, I like silly prods

It's definately cool, but the gameplay does not work.
Nobody will ever kill these 1000 monsters.
The sounds get pretty annoying too...

 

Ok after changing the window font to my screen size it is pretty good. I don't think there is even a bottom to how far down you can bomb. I like that the trees get destroyed, the bombs dig holes, and that there are two tiers of geography with a slippery back cam that you have to maneuver as part of the game play. I love the pixel to ascii look and it plays smooth. Great Job!
