WOW, Shiru, You OWN!
That's most interesting! Original interface of Music Synth is a garbage!
Did You improved the sound? Somehow I have an impression it sounds a little bit better than the original prog from 1989. :)
Btw, where is the instrument editor? (Music Synth's the only advantage is a powerful music editor).
Or maybe on the MS You have to prepare instruments and then use Your tracker?
Anywayz.
If You make the same tracker for Tim Follin's 6-channel engine, then I will send You some fucking money, man. :) Hahahahaha.

I haven't changed (almost) anything in the player code, only added ability to loop to any row. The sound is probably slightly changed because I use different freq. table, and because of conversion process I've made with demo track. The instrument editor is on Edit key (CS+1). For now I don't feel myself ready to dig into Tim Follin's player, and I'm afraid it will suffer from similar problems like Alone Coders' Beep Tracker, though maybe I'll take a look into this. If someone already did some research on data format of Follin's player, this would help greatly.

Shit, I found the interument editor. You are GREAT.

PS: So Alone made his prog based on TFolllin's work? I didn't know. Interesting.
Write me an e'mail into yerzmyey AT interia.pl , I'll try to contact You with XXL who was working on Follin's stuff before.
Ah, so another question. Author of MS added an option to 'handmade' tune sounds by a musician (very useful as the engine makes many falses, as usual on MS) - where the option is in Your tracker?
Alone Coder's prog isn't directly based on the Follin's player, but he said it is very similar by design. About the option, do you mean H key in MS? I even didn't realized it's purpose until now, so I didn't implemented replacement for it. This could be added, of course.

Actually I found that the tunning maybe isn't so much required as probably Your changes in the engine caused that it doesn't make false notes (of course both tone channels must be occupied). Anyway. I'm testing it still. For now I will look for compiler in the prog and RANDOMIZE USR to run the songs.
For now there is no compiler. It is not a problem to add it, if it will compile to fixed location, as the original MS did. Adding relocation option will be much harder.

Ah, yes, the compiler is "most wanted", sure thing.
I think that the relocation isn't as important.
Btw - can I load T.E song back to MS 1989?
Then we could use its own compiler without any problems.
Any tracks made on it?
